Welford Road Tigers Memorial

The names of 100 Barbarians and 46 Leicester Tigers who lost their lives during the two World Wars will be recognised on a monument due to be built outside the main entrance at the Welford Road. Read more at: Tigers honoured

The memorial is the magnificent Second World War window from the now closed Aylestone and District Working Men's Club, on Saffron Lane. It is huge – 10ft tall by 5ft wide - and weighs a ton. Read more at Rescued memorial
