THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
BRITISH BATTALION (1st Battalion The Leicestershire Regiment and 2nd Battalion The East Surrey Regiment). In proud and honoured memory of all ranks of the British Battalion on this the 70th anniversary of the formation of this unique unit, which fought in the highest traditions of the two regiments with such determination and gallantry at the Battle of Kampar.
