Biography :
As Sergeant Henry Farrington served in South Africa 1899-1901. Later served at the Regimental Depot. Was serving with 3rd Bn in 1907. Awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with Annuity (George VI issue) in 1947, and the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. These medals in the collection of Leicester City Museums Service.
