Biography :
Home address given as Manor Park, Essex. Enlisted at Leicester into the Army Reserve on 28.10.1913 and transferred to the Regulars on 28.2.1914. He entered France on 26.1.1915 and was killed in action on 19.9.1918. He is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial, Pas-de-Calais, France. The 1914-15 Star, the British War medal and a Memorium plaque to Sergeant Edsor are in the collection of Leicester City Museums Service.
