Biography :

Home address given as Luton, Bedfordshire. Enlisted at Hammersmith, London in March 1915. Served with the 7th Bn during World War One in the France and Flanders campaign, being invalided home in January 1916 suffering from nephritis and wounds. He returned to France in June 1916. Having been admitted to hospital on 30.4.1918 with severe gunshot wounds, he died of those wounds in France, 10.5.1918, aged 22. He is buried at Boulougne Eastern Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France.
