Biography :

Jihn Bullock enlisted at Grantham, Lincolnshire. Served with 110th Brigade (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th Battalions The Leicestershire Regiment) during World War One. He saw active service from July 1915 until 15/6/1916 when he was 'posted to base' in England with 'trench fever'. He rejoined the 1/4th Bn on the 6.5.1917 in France. Killed in Action near Lens serving with the 1/4th on 8.6.1917. His name is on the Arras Memorial, Pas-de-Calais, France. He is also remembered on the Muston memorial, Bottesford, Leics.
