"22220431 Frank Bentley joined 21-09-1948 and left on 29-09-60 as a WO2. Prior to his service with the 5th Battalion (TA), he served with the Royal Corps of Signals from 07-03-1940 and was released on 12-03-1946 as a LCpl. Served with the 8th Army in North Africa, and was on the D Day landings."
