Biography :
Enlsited at Leicester. Was serving in United Kingdom with 'F' Company 1st Bn in 1910. Later served with 2nd Bn in World War One 'A' Company. Wounded during operations in France 15.5.1915. He later became a Sergeant. He later died of wounds in and Flanders Campaign 31.1.1918. At the time of his death he was serving with Machine Gun Corps as Sergeant 14042.
