Biography :
Served as Adjutant and Intelligence Officer of 1/5th Bn in Norway, April 1940. He avoided capture, but was later interned in Sweden. Awarded the M.B.E. as Staff Officer G5, Allied Forces HQ, Italy (L.G. 20.9.1945) and Medal of Freedom (with bronze palm) (USA) for his work in HQ US Forces Mediterranean, 1943-46 (L.G. 18 Jul 1947). His death was notified in the Newsletter of the Royal Tigers' Association Spring 2004.
