George Morley enlisted on 24.6.1940, and served in 2nd Bn The Leicestershire Regiment in World War Two. His service included North Africa, U.K., Ceylon, India and Burma. Released Class 'A' 23.1.1946 and Class 'Z' (T) Army Reserve 4.5.1946. His medals are in the collection of Leicester Art & Museums Service.
