Biography :

Albert Zelley was commissioned 2Lt into The Leicestershire Regiment on 20.11.1915, and served in the 1/5th Bn. He was promoted Lt 1.7.1917. In 1918 he relinquished his commission on account of ill-health contracted while on active duty and was granted the Hon rank of Lt. He died in 1976, aged 80 years.
