Biography :
Whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Private Widdowson recieved the India General Service medal (with Burma 1887-89 clasp). When serving with the 1st Battalion, he was then a recipient of the Queen's South Africa Medal (with three clasps). These are held by this museum.
