Biography :
After National Serice in Korea with 1st R Leicesters, Bill Wallace was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant 6.12.1952 into the TA. Served in 5th Bn, and 4/5th Bn in 1962. Awarded the T.D. in 1969. Commanded 4 (Leics) Coy 7th R Anglian 1967-69 and was CO 7th R Anglian 1971-74, for which service he was awarded the O.B.E. (L.G. 15 Jun 1974). He died in 1985.
