Biography :

'Charlie' Taylor served in 1st Bn The Leicestershire Regiment in the Korean War. He was awarded the Military Medal for his actions on 25/26 May 1962 when serving as a Corporal in C Company (L.G.4.7.1952). The officer whose casualty evacuation he was instrumental in protecting was Lt Jeremy Wright - see https://admin.past-view.com/entities/view/132780. Charles Taylor was invested with his M.M by H.M. The Queen at Buckingham Palace on 10.3.1953. He died in 1993, aged 63 years.
