George Arthur Spencer enlisted 18.4.1940. Awarded the MM (Military Medal) during World War Two for his actions in the campaign in Italy. Medals: MM, 1939-1945 War Medal, Defence Medal, Africa Star, Italy Star, 1939-1949 Star, 4 Oak Leaves and 1st Army Bar. Released Class 'A' 8.2.1946 and Class 'Z' (T) Army Reserve 13.5.1946.
