Biography :

Enlisted 15.11.1916 and served with the 2/5th Battalion during World War One in France and Flanders. Wounded on active service and hospitalised in Exeter where he died of wounds on 19.11.1917, aged 21. He is buried at Welford Road Cemetery, Leicester. See entry for Riley, Horace, the same.
