Biography :
Commissioned as Lieutenant 8.12.1885. Awarded India General Service Medal, with Burma clasp 1887-1889. This object is in the collection of Leicester City Museums Service. Is still serving with 2nd Bn seconded to Depot as at 1894. Note that a W. Pearson is noted as recently retired in the Times 26.7.1899.
