Biography :
Enlisted at Loughborough aged 18 years and 2 months 14th February 1906. Served with Leicestershire Regiment during World War One. He was died of wounds received in the field 30.11.1914. He is buried at Le Touret Military Cemetery, Richebourg-L' Avoue, Pas de Calais, France. His Christmas 1914 cigarette gift box in the collection of Leicester City Museums Service.
